Course Name: Diploma in Make Up & Hair Dressing

Eligibility: High School(10th Grade) or Equivalent.

Objective: The main aim of the Diploma in Make-Up & Hair Dressing is to train students to work as professionals in the makeup and hair industry. The course provides comprehensive practical training in various styles and techniques, helping students develop the creativity and technical skills necessary to succeed in the beauty and personal care sector.

Duration: Six Months.

 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.

 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Online Examination Detail:

• Duration- 120 minutes.
• No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
• 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
• Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
• There is no negative marking in this module.

Manicure & Pedicure: Objectives, how to do a manicure, how to apply nail polish, procedure, precautions, pedicure, procedure for foot massage, procedure for hand massage, precautions for manicure and pedicure.

Threading, Tweezing and Bleaching: Personality development, superfluous fair, manicure & pedicure, facial & skin analysis, hair care, hair problem, yoga, make up, hair styling, hair coloring, perming, straightening /rebonding/ smoothening.

Basic Hair Styling: Introduction, objectives, principles of design, backcombing, casual hair style, formal style, setting and blow-drying, dressing hair.

Basic Makeup & Bindi Designing, Facials: Basic skin types and skin tones, makeup products, the colour wheel, basic bindi designs, electro facial skin treatment, make up removal methods, creating positive impression at work place, facial beauty services, salon reception duties.

Sterilization & Sanitation: Methods of heat sterilization, heat sterilization prion diseases, sterilization by steam, sterilization by dry heat, monitoring sterilization procedures, other sterilization methods, ultraviolet light sterilization.       

Scalp Massage, Shampooing/Conditioning, Rinsing: Introduction, oils are nonpolar, shampoo chemistry, conditioner chemistry, surfactants.
