Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Therapeutic Yoga course is designed for yoga instructors, healthcare practitioners, physiotherapists, and wellness professionals interested in using yoga as a healing modality. This program blends classical yoga practices with modern therapeutic approaches to address physical, mental, and emotional health challenges.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Foundations of Therapeutic Yoga: Introduction to therapeutic yoga and its principles, Difference between general yoga and therapeutic yoga, History and evolution of yoga therapy, Role of yoga in healing and recovery, Understanding Panchakosha (five sheaths), Overview of yoga and modern medicine integration, Scientific evidence supporting yoga therapy, Indications and contraindications, Responsibilities and ethics of a yoga therapist, Scope of practice in therapeutic yoga.
Module 2: Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga Therapy: Basic human anatomy relevant to yoga practice, Skeletal and muscular system overview, Respiratory system and breath awareness, Nervous system and stress response, Digestive system and yoga’s impact, Circulatory system and heart health, Endocrine system and hormone balance, Common postural imbalances and correction, Pain physiology and movement safety, Use of props and alignment techniques.
Module 3: Therapeutic Asanas and Techniques: Asanas for stress and anxiety relief, Yoga for back pain and spinal issues, Therapeutic yoga for joints and arthritis, Postures for respiratory conditions, Yoga for digestive and metabolic disorders, Practices for cardiovascular health, Modifications for elderly and physically challenged, Use of props in therapeutic sessions, Sequencing asanas for therapy goals, Contraindicated poses and safety precautions.
Module 4: Breathing Practices and Meditation in Therapy: Basics of pranayama and healing breathwork, Breathing techniques for relaxation and clarity, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Bhramari, Ujjayi and Sheetali for therapeutic use, Role of breath in autonomic nervous system regulation, Introduction to meditation for healing, Guided relaxation techniques (Yoga Nidra), Mindfulness in chronic condition management, Chakra balancing through breath and awareness, Integrating breath, mind, and body for therapy.
