Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Teaching English at Primary Level course is designed to equip educators with the necessary skills to teach English language to children in classes 1 to 5. It focuses on building the teacher’s understanding of language development, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, storytelling, and interactive techniques suitable for young learners.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Foundations of English Language Teaching: Importance of English at the primary level, Stages of language development in children, Four core skills – Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (LSRW), Role of the teacher in language development, Understanding language acquisition theories, Creating a language-rich environment, Challenges in teaching English to young learners, Teaching through play and interaction, Aligning with NEP and NCF 2023, Building confidence in English use.
Module 2: Teaching Listening and Speaking Skills: Developing active listening habits, Use of songs, rhymes, and stories, Storytelling and role-play activities, Pronunciation and intonation drills, Picture-based conversations, Everyday situational dialogues, Speaking activities using flashcards and puppets, Encouraging peer interaction in English, Listening comprehension tasks, Oral assessment techniques.
Module 3: Teaching Reading Skills: Phonics and word recognition, Sight words and vocabulary building, Reading aloud and shared reading, Guided reading strategies, Storybooks and graded readers, Reading comprehension activities, Encouraging reading habits, Prediction and sequencing activities, Questioning techniques to enhance understanding, Using library resources effectively.
