Objective: The Certificate in Quality Control and Quality Assurance (Instrumentation) course is designed to develop skilled professionals capable of maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and reliability in instrumentation systems across various industries.

Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Fundamentals of instrumentation systems, Introduction to quality control and assurance, Importance of QA/QC in instrumentation, Basic terms: accuracy, precision, repeatability, QA vs QC in process instrumentation, Role of instrumentation in industrial quality, Overview of international standards (ISO/IEC, ANSI), Types of industrial instruments, Instrument calibration basics, Documentation and traceability in QA.
Module 2: Measurement Principles and Instrument Calibration
Principles of pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement, Types of sensors and transducers, Working of transmitters and controllers, Calibration procedures for pressure instruments, Calibration of temperature devices (RTD, thermocouple), Flow meter calibration methods, Level measurement and control, Standards and references used in calibration, Frequency of calibration and recalibration, Recording and reporting calibration data.
Module 3: Quality Testing and Troubleshooting of Instruments
Testing methods for analog and digital instruments, Continuity and insulation testing, Loop checking and signal verification, Troubleshooting field instruments, Fault diagnosis techniques, Preventive maintenance of instruments, Error identification and rectification, Safety precautions during testing, Environmental conditions affecting accuracy, Root cause analysis for failures.

Introduction to statistical tools for QA/QC, Control charts for process data, Process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk), Sampling methods in instrumentation QA, Acceptance criteria and tolerance limits, Application of Six Sigma in instrumentation QA, Reliability and repeatability testing, Data analysis and result interpretation, Reporting of out-of-spec conditions, Quality indicators and dashboards.
