Objective: The objective of this course is to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and practical understanding required to ensure environmental quality through effective quality control and assurance techniques.

• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

Overview of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA), Difference between QC and QA in environmental context, Importance of environmental monitoring, Environmental standards and regulations (ISO 14000, EPA, CPCB), Principles of environmental management systems (EMS), Types of environmental pollution (air, water, soil, noise), Environmental impact assessment (EIA), Role of environmental auditors and inspectors, Importance of sustainable practices, Ethical considerations in environmental QA/QC.
Module 2: Air Quality Control and Monitoring
Air pollutants and their sources, National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), Air sampling methods and equipment, PM2.5 and PM10 measurement techniques, Gaseous pollutant analysis (SO₂, NOx, CO, O₃), Calibration and maintenance of air monitoring instruments, Indoor air quality standards, QA/QC procedures in air quality analysis, Data interpretation and reporting, Mitigation techniques for air pollution.
