Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Inventory & Storekeeping course is to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to manage inventory and store operations effectively in various industrial, retail, and warehouse settings. The course covers essential topics such as stock classification, inventory recording, goods receipt and issuance, documentation, FIFO/LIFO methods, cycle counting, physical verification, and storage techniques.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Inventory and Storekeeping: Basics of inventory and store management, Role and responsibilities of a storekeeper, Types of stores (raw materials, finished goods, tools), Importance of inventory control in business, Store layout and classification of items, Understanding SKUs and item codes, Safety and security in stores, Types of storage systems (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO), Coordination with purchase and accounts departments, Overview of stock audit and compliance.
Module 2: Inventory Management Techniques: Types of inventory (cyclical, perpetual, safety), ABC, VED, and HML analysis techniques, Reorder level and economic order quantity (EOQ), Stock level classification (minimum, maximum, danger), Use of stock registers and bin cards, Cycle counting and physical verification, Inventory shrinkage and pilferage control, Lead time and buffer stock calculation, Return-to-store and scrap handling, Stock ledger and inventory reports.
Module 3: Storekeeping Operations: Receiving goods and materials, Inspection and quality check of goods, Storage methods and stacking techniques, Issuing materials with proper documentation, Store requisition and gate pass preparation, Maintenance of GRN and inward registers, Tagging and labeling of items, Handling non-conforming and excess goods, Safety protocols for hazardous materials, Daily housekeeping and store upkeep.
