Objective: The Certificate in Fire Hazard Prevention and Response course is designed for individuals working in industrial, commercial, residential, or institutional settings. It focuses on fire safety awareness, hazard identification, prevention techniques, and emergency response protocols necessary to protect life and property.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire and Fire Science: Definition and chemistry of fire, Fire triangle and tetrahedron, Classes of fire (A, B, C, D, K), Sources and causes of fire, Stages of fire development, Heat transfer methods (conduction, convection, radiation), Combustion process and flammable materials, Fire behavior in enclosed spaces, Flash point, ignition temperature and explosion limits, Basic fire terminologies and concepts.
Module 2: Fire Prevention and Safety Practices: Fire prevention planning and strategies, Workplace fire risk assessment, Housekeeping and material storage practices, Electrical fire safety precautions, Use of signage and labels for fire hazards, Role of good ventilation and escape planning, Hot work permit and safety, Smoking area regulations, Fire-resistant building materials, Routine safety checks and inspections.
Module 3: Fire Detection and Suppression Systems: Fire alarms and smoke detectors – types and functions, Sprinkler and drenching systems, Fire extinguishers – types and usage (CO₂, foam, dry powder, water), Fire hydrant and hose reel systems, Automatic fire suppression systems, Fire detection system maintenance and testing, Fire suppression in data centers and high-risk areas, Emergency lighting and evacuation alarms, Standards for fire safety equipment, Installation and layout planning.
