Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Field Technician (Computing and Peripherals) course is designed to develop the skills necessary to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking systems. It prepares learners for field support roles in IT services, offices, and homes.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Overview of the role of field technician, Types of computers and peripherals, Basic hardware components and functions, Input and output devices, Storage devices and types, Motherboard components and ports, Power supply unit and SMPS, Health and safety measures, Tools and equipment used in servicing, E-waste handling and disposal.
Module 2: Installation and Configuration of PC Hardware
Identifying hardware components, Assembling a desktop computer, Installing RAM, CPU, and storage drives, Connecting cables and front panel ports, BIOS/UEFI configuration basics, Installing operating systems (Windows/Linux), Driver installation and updates, Boot sequence and troubleshooting, CMOS battery functions, Hardware compatibility and standards.
Module 3: Operating System and Software Support
Types of operating systems, Installation of Windows and Linux OS, Disk partitioning and formatting, User account creation and management, Installing productivity and antivirus software, Command line basics (Windows CMD, Linux terminal), Software updates and patching, Registry editing and system configuration tools, Troubleshooting software issues, Backup and restore procedures.
