Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) course is designed for environmental consultants, engineers, urban planners, policy makers, and students who wish to understand the systematic process of evaluating environmental consequences before project implementation. It promotes sustainable decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Environmental Impact Assessment: Definition and scope of EIA, Historical background and evolution of EIA, Importance of EIA in sustainable development, Legal and regulatory framework of EIA in India and globally, Objectives and benefits of conducting EIA, Types of environmental impacts, Key stages of EIA process, Principles and approaches of EIA, Role of stakeholders in EIA, Overview of Environmental Clearance process.
Module 2: Screening, Scoping and Baseline Studies: Project categorization and screening criteria, Scoping and preparation of Terms of Reference (ToR), Identification of environmental aspects and impacts, Public participation in scoping, Methods of baseline data collection, Air and noise quality monitoring techniques, Water and soil analysis methodologies, Biodiversity and ecological studies, Socio-economic baseline data collection, Baseline study reporting formats.
Module 3: Impact Identification and Prediction Techniques: Methods of impact identification (checklists, matrices, networks), Quantitative and qualitative impact analysis, Prediction models for air, water and noise pollution, Ecological risk assessment methods, Social and health impact assessments, Cumulative impact assessment, Use of GIS and remote sensing in impact analysis, Impact significance evaluation, Uncertainty in impact predictions, Case studies of impact prediction.
