Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) course is designed to train aspiring preschool teachers, childcare professionals, and caregivers in nurturing the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children. It focuses on foundational learning through play, care, and creative teaching approaches aligned with early learning frameworks.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Foundations of Early Childhood Education: Definition and scope of early childhood education, Importance of the early years (0–8 years), Objectives and principles of ECCE, Role of play in development, Overview of NEP 2020 and NCF for Foundational Stage, Understanding different learning styles, Role of early childhood educators, Importance of child-centered learning, Creating a nurturing environment, Historical perspectives on early education.
Module 2: Child Growth and Development: Stages of development – physical, cognitive, emotional, social, Milestones from birth to 6 years, Factors influencing development, Developmentally appropriate practices (DAP), Observation and assessment of child behavior, Promoting holistic development, Impact of nutrition and environment, Theories of child development (Piaget, Erikson, Vygotsky), Language and communication development, Supporting children with special needs.
Module 3: Early Learning and Curriculum Planning: Principles of curriculum for early learners, Theme-based and integrated learning, Literacy and numeracy readiness, Creative and aesthetic development, Storytelling, music, and movement, Planning daily and weekly schedules, Use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs), Monitoring and evaluating learning outcomes, Role of indoor and outdoor activities, Inclusive and culturally relevant curriculum.
Module 4: Classroom Management and Pedagogical Techniques: Setting up an early childhood classroom, Managing routines and transitions, Creating rules and expectations, Behavior guidance and positive discipline, Interactive and experiential teaching methods, Individual and group learning activities, Fostering creativity and critical thinking, Time and space management, Child safety and supervision, Planning parent engagement activities.

After successful completion of the Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) program, graduates are qualified to work in roles related to the care, development, and education of children aged 0 to 8 years.
