Course Name: Certificate in Cyber Security Associate
Course Id: CCSA/Q0101.
Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Cyber Security Associate course is to equip learners with the fundamental understanding and hands-on skills required to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats. The course covers core topics such as network security, system vulnerabilities, threat analysis, data protection, ethical hacking basics, and the use of cybersecurity tools and protocols.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Introduction to Cyber Security: Definition of cyber security, Importance of information security, Types of cyber threats, Cybercrime and its impact, Introduction to ethical hacking, Basic network concepts, Overview of internet and web security, Roles and responsibilities of a cybersecurity associate, CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), Evolution of cybersecurity.
Module 2: Network Security Fundamentals: Understanding IP addressing and subnets, OSI and TCP/IP models, Firewalls and their functions, Introduction to VPNs, Proxy servers and NAT, Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Wireless network security, Port scanning and network mapping tools, Packet sniffers (Wireshark), Security configurations for routers and switches.
Module 3: System and Endpoint Security: Securing operating systems (Windows/Linux), Antivirus and anti-malware tools, Password policies and authentication, System hardening techniques, Patch management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), End-user security practices, USB and external device security, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Secure remote access.
Module 4: Application and Web Security: Common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), SQL injection and XSS, Secure coding principles, Web application firewalls (WAF), Input validation techniques, Session management and cookies, HTTPS and SSL/TLS, Secure APIs, Vulnerability scanning tools, Secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
