Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Advanced Industrial Hazard Safety course is to train professionals in advanced concepts of occupational health, safety regulations, hazard identification, and emergency response in high-risk industrial settings. The course is designed for safety officers, engineers, supervisors, and plant managers responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Industrial Safety and Hazards: Definition and importance of industrial safety, Types of workplace hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic), Accident causation theories, Safety terminologies and concepts, Common industrial accidents and case studies, Roles and responsibilities of safety professionals, Legal requirements and compliance, Hazard identification techniques, Industrial safety statistics and trends, Safety policy and objectives.
Module 2: Fire and Electrical Safety: Basics of fire and combustion, Classes of fire and extinguishers, Fire prevention and control methods, Fire detection and alarm systems, Fire evacuation and emergency planning, Electrical hazards and shock prevention, Safe use of electrical equipment, Earthing and circuit protection, Personal protective equipment (PPE) in electrical work, Safety audits for fire and electrical systems.
Module 3: Chemical and Process Safety Management: Hazardous chemical classification and labeling, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Safe handling and storage of chemicals, Process safety management (PSM) overview, Chemical spill response and cleanup, Toxicology and exposure limits, Industrial ventilation and gas detection, Lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures, Confined space safety, Emergency response for chemical incidents.
Module 4: Mechanical and Machine Safety: Machine guarding and safe operation, Hand tool and power tool safety, Lifting equipment and crane safety, Conveyor belt and rotating equipment hazards, Lockout-tagout in mechanical systems, Preventive maintenance and inspection, Noise and vibration hazards, Ergonomic risks in machine operation, Accident investigation techniques, Job safety analysis (JSA).
Module 5: Risk Assessment and Control Measures: Hierarchy of hazard control measures, Risk identification and assessment methods, Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), Fault Tree and Event Tree Analysis, Safety checklists and inspections, Workplace safety signs and color coding, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Incident reporting and investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Continuous improvement in safety systems.
Module 6: Safety Management Systems and Training: Elements of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS), ISO 45001 standards overview, Safety training and communication strategies, Safety committees and employee involvement, Emergency preparedness and drills, Safety performance indicators and KPIs, Documentation and recordkeeping, Contractor and visitor safety management, Behavior-based safety (BBS), Building a culture of safety.
