Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Advanced Industrial Hazard Safety course is to train professionals in advanced concepts of occupational health, safety regulations, hazard identification, and emergency response in high-risk industrial settings. Module 2: Fire and Electrical Safety: Basics of fire and combustion, Classes of fire and extinguishers, Fire prevention and control methods, Fire detection and alarm systems, Fire evacuation and emergency planning, Electrical hazards and shock prevention, Safe use of electrical equipment, Earthing and circuit protection, Personal protective equipment (PPE) in electrical work, Safety audits for fire and electrical systems.
