Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Anganwadi Training and Child Care course is designed to train aspiring Anganwadi workers, helpers, and early childcare providers in essential areas of child development, nutrition, maternal care, and preschool education. It focuses on the holistic development of children aged 0–6 years, with emphasis on community health and support for underprivileged families.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Anganwadi System and ECCE: Overview of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Objectives and roles of Anganwadi Centres, Duties and responsibilities of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), Importance of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Government schemes and child welfare programs, Role of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Understanding the NEP 2020 and NCF for Foundational Stage, Community participation in Anganwadi services, Coordination with ASHA and ANM workers, Record-keeping and reporting structure.
Module 2: Child Growth and Development: Stages of child development (0-6 years), Physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, Milestones in early childhood, Factors affecting child development, Importance of play in learning, Identification of developmental delays, Child psychology basics, Gender sensitivity in early development, Inclusive care for children with special needs, Role of caregivers in personality development.
Module 3: Health, Nutrition and Hygiene: Basics of child health and hygiene, Common childhood illnesses and first aid, Growth monitoring using WHO growth charts, Immunization schedule and its importance, Malnutrition – signs, prevention and management, Nutrition for pregnant and lactating mothers, Hygiene practices for children and caregivers, Sanitation and waste management in Anganwadi, Personal hygiene and handwashing practices, Nutrition education for parents and community.
Module 4: Pre-School Education and Learning Activities: Principles of early childhood education, Teaching through storytelling, songs and rhymes, Concept of joyful and play-based learning, Planning daily preschool schedules, Developing low-cost teaching-learning materials (TLMs), Use of flashcards, blocks, and toys, Activities for motor skill development, Language and numeracy readiness activities, Assessment of learning through observation, Documentation of child progress.
Module 5: Communication and Community Engagement: Effective communication skills for Anganwadi workers, Conducting home visits and parent counseling, Mobilizing community support for child care, Organizing mothers’ meetings and awareness programs, Promoting child rights and protection, Dealing with gender bias and harmful practices, Creating a safe and secure environment, Encouraging early enrolment in schools, Interpersonal skills and empathy in caregiving, Linking with NGOs and local health programs.
Module 6: Administration, Documentation and Legal Framework: Daily registers and documentation in Anganwadi, Record of immunization and supplementary nutrition, Growth monitoring charts and preschool attendance, Government reporting formats and timelines, Monitoring and supervision procedures, Safety norms and standards in Anganwadi, Child protection policies and POCSO Act overview, Rights of the child and juvenile justice, Mid-day meal norms and food storage, Role of training and professional development.
