Network Devices and Configuration: Understanding switches and routers, Working of modems and access points, Network interface cards (NIC) and media converters, Configuring routers and switches, VLANs and inter-VLAN routing, DHCP and static IP configuration, Port forwarding and NAT, Network monitoring tools, Common networking commands, Troubleshooting network device issues.

IP Addressing and Subnetting: IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, Private and public IP addresses, Subnetting concepts and CIDR notation, Supernetting and classless addressing, Configuring IP addresses on devices, DHCP working and configuration, NAT (Network Address Translation) and PAT, IPv6 structure and addressing scheme, Loopback and reserved IP addresses, Calculating subnet masks and address ranges.
